Hey Rach -
Well, the pictures don't need a lot of explanation- here is confirmation that Coby has inherited the Reems sweet-tooth.
The princess is one. My how a year has flown by. It doesn't get any better than a big slobbery-monkey kiss from that little girl.
To make your own monkey cake
go here (thanks for the idea Carolyn!).
ahhh!! i love it!! i want to make that for tommy's upcoming birthday or perhaps brent's 30th ;) coby is priceless in those pics..love the tutu and her facial expression in the tub.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! i love it! That wee princess of yours is too cute and the monkey cake - bravo mama.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the cake Haley! Coby is adorable.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, thanks for the props for the Salmon recipe.
Thanks for the cake yesterday Haley! So tasty. I had a dream last night that I came to your house and brought about 15 friends and made you make spaghetti for us. I just sat around talking to all my friends while you juggled all the children everyone brought and made delicious spaghetti by yourself. Thanks! ;) I am off to make your apple cake. My springform pan is at the new house so I am hoping that it will work in a 9x13 pan.

Happy Happy Birthday Coby!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, we think she's pretty cute too!
ReplyDeleteHey Kylie - I'll make dream spaghetti for you anytime (I seem to excel at dream multi-tasking much more than in real life:). I would make the cake in a 9" square cake - or double it into a 9 by 13.. I don't think you'd have enough batter for 2 layers.
I made the cake in a 9x13 pan and doubled it. So good!!! Best apple cake I have ever had.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! great presentation- The expression of the baby says it all....Yummy yummy cake!
ReplyDeleteThat is one happy little baby. I love finding blogs from Canada!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Haley.
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable photos and an adorable cake! How fun to see!
